  10.     leave the University of G√∂ttingen because of their ‚ÄúJewish physics‚Äù.
  11.     October-Szilard recollects that ‚ÄúIt occurred to me in October, 1933 that a chain
  12.     reaction might be set up if an element could be found that would emit two 
  13.     neutrons when it swallowed one neutron.‚Äù This idea became a classified 
  14.     British patent in 1935 before the fission was discovered.
